Dreamier deep house from Sweden/Berlin’s Jonsson & Alter on their 2nd album. Their follow-up to their well-received debut, ‘Mod’ follows very much in the same groove of supple yet robust hardware-driven house grooves and almost new age-inflected synth atmospheres on a “one way” dancefloor journey. Eight tracks gives respectful nods to classic New York, Chicago and Detroit house moods and grooves but with a spacious, laidback Release Format unique to the duo’s sound.
